Bully in Town

The Windcrest Volunteer Fire Association is already a 501c3 or c4!!  So why is Baxter threatening the Fire Association?   The Herald this week has this article by Jeff Flynn where Baxter is quoted: "   The current association has one week to turn over all their books and records and be transparent, as they are supposed to be,” he warned. “If they refuse, we will start a new 501c3 or c4. It will be seamless.  GILBERT GARCIA OPINION COLUMNIST, wrote: " Things are nasty in Windcrest. The knock on Baxter is that he is a foul- mouthed bully who rewards his friends and  punishes anyone who fails to meet his  loyalty test" Two articles showing Alan Baxter has earned Bully Status  Windcrest  received copies of the associationsTax Returns for the past 3 years.  Baxter wanted more documents, but the Association released all documents required by Law.  Baxter false claim that the Association didn't file tax returns for several years is another example of Baxter'

Windcrest Candidates File-

The City of Windcrest Texas, has a gaggle of candidates running for Windcrest City Council.  According to Mayor Baxter on Aug 19 two candidates had filed against him.  However, this blogger only finds a single candidate running against Mayor Baxter and he filed  3 days later. Alan Baxter won the mayor's race last election, then 2 months filed for County Commissioner!  Talk about a slap in the face for voters, wow. Baxter is running on being debt free, and is now pushing for a street bond to fix the streets!! Four years of, "we will start the street repairs after lite up."  Each year he recommends lowering the tax rate, now there is insufficient funds for Street repairs, so float a Bond.  Let the future home owner pay for the streets.   Sounds about Baxter's speed, lies, and untruths.  He told Rick Casey on live TV a bold fib, said he was competitive with another candidate, then on follow up, Mr. Casey discovered Baxter over estimated his campaign dollars by se
